Mr. Enestle Zimba is a Project Development Manager of Maylan Projects Development, specialized in mining exploration and agro food production and manufacturing. He is responsible for exploration of new ore deposits for Maylan’s mining projects, including designing surface exploration and underground drilling for ore evaluation and feasibility study new mines based on geology results of ore samples analysis.  In addition, he is part of Maylan’s agro food team that develops agriculture farms and food manufacturing plants in East Africa.

Mr. Zimba is a senior mining engineer and geologist with over 24 years of work experience in the mining industry, managing various exploration drilling and training programs of graduate geologists and geological assistants.   He served as senior mine geologist and engineer at various mining companies in Zambia to design and carry out drilling programs and underground exploration for Nchanga, Baluba and Luanshya copper-cobalt mines to provide timely and accurate geological data for project plans of cost effective and safe mine operations.  The new successful Muliashi Open Pit Mine in Zambia today is a result of these mining activities.

Mr. Zimba holds a Geology Degree assessed by Vetassess as equivalent to Australian Degree, Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Copperbelt University, and a Bachelor of Mineral Sciences (B. Min. Sc. Geology) from University of Zambia.

Mr. Zimba is the current President of Luanshya District Chamber of Commerce and Industry, an Affiliate of Zambia Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This position involves representation of the business community to the civic authority and central government.  In addition, he is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitration in Zambia, and a member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia and Engineers’ Registration Board of Zambia.
