Dr.  Sherif Ali is a Healthcare and Commodities Manager of Maylan Projects Development, specialized in healthcare services, food and commodity supplies.   He is part of Maylan’s Agriculture Development and Commodities Teams responsible for producing agro foods and minerals trading. 

Prior to joining the Maylan Group, Dr. Ali served as medical doctor for over 10 years in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Liver Transplant, and Diet and Nutrition at  various hospitals in Egypt, including Ain-Shams University Hospital, Al-Khalifa Hospital, al-Sahel Teaching Hospital, and Dar Al-Fouad Hospital.  He served as Manager of the Liver Transplantation Unit in Al-Sahel Teaching Hospital and Coordinator of the Egyptian National Program of Liver Transplantation in General Organization of Teaching Hospitals & Institutes (GOTHI). 

In addition to having medical practice experience, Dr. Ali has been successfully operating his own agriculture foods and commodities business in Egypt and Europe since 2014, specialized in wholesale produce and commodities supplies.  He has been active more than two decades in international trades and capital fundraising for government healthcare projects.

Dr. Ali holds a Master of Business and Administration (MBA) in banking and finance from the American University in Cairo (AUC), Egypt.  In addition, he also holds an M.B.B.Ch (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery), an M.Sc. in Tropical Medicine, and a Post Graduate degree in Diet and therapeutic Nutrition from Ain-Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, with training and work experience in Clinical Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Living Donor Liver Transplantation (LDLT) in Al-Sahel Teaching Hospital and Dar Al-Fouad Hospital, Cairo, Egypt.
